This Craftsman Professional 6″ jointer was almost skipped… The cast iron was in pretty bad shape, and there were some missing bits. Time to polish up those Cast Iron Restoration skills.

Overall, it came out great, and was a fantastic aid while learning “how to get there.” It was also a perfect stepping stone machine-wise, coming from a much smaller, but well tuned 4″ unit.
